BIO:

At only 21 years old, Garrett Huffman has accomplished an impressive amount of career milestones since teaching himself how to play the guitar during the pandemic of 2020.  His original music and rapidly growing reputation led to endorsement deals with Willow Creek Guitars, S.I.T. Strings Co., and Franklin Strap, and in 2025 he became an official partner with Pepsi.  Garrett has amassed countless fans across the United States and, on January 20, 2024, Garrett was bestowed with the esteemed “2023 Carolina CMA Entertainer of the Year” award by the Carolina Country Music Association at the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach, SC.  His victory was fueled by the overwhelming support of his fan base, earning him the highest number of votes ever recorded in the history of the competition.  Garrett is a Nashville Recording Artist and Professional Member of the Country Music Association and has graced the stage at over 500 shows across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee, since his performance debut in 2021.   Garrett has management in Nashville, TN and continues to build a national presence as one of the most promising young artists in country music.

MUSIC/PERFORMANCE:

Garrett Huffman is a dynamic and versatile vocalist, known for his ability to perform across a wide range of genres—from country to rock—with authenticity and power. His setlists are thoughtfully tailored to suit each venue and audience, delivering high-energy performances that consistently leave crowds wanting more. Whether performing as a solo artist or with a full band, Garrett brings passion and stage presence to every show.  In addition to his live performances, Garrett is also a prolific songwriter that has written with multiple hit songwriters in Nashville, TN.  He has written over 200 original songs, with many slated for release throughout 2025 and 2026, including his highly anticipated debut EP, scheduled for August 2025.  Since 2023, he has garnered over 150,000 streams across digital platforms and maintains more than 20,000 monthly listeners on Spotify.  While his original work is rooted in country rock, Garrett’s unique ability to infuse any song with his own distinct style and flair sets him apart as a truly original artist in today’s music landscape.

PAST PERFORMANCES:

Garrett has performed at a wide variety of noteworthy venues including The Local, Commodore Grille, Tin Roof, and other venues in Nashville, TN, as well as The House of Blues, The Boathouse, and Tin Roof in Myrtle Beach, SC.  He has also played numerous concert series events with the City of Gastonia, Town of Pineville, City of York, Town of Mooresville, Town of Clover, Town of Dallas, and City of Mount Holly.  Garrett has also played events with Benson Boone, Gwen Stefani, Warren Peay, Ronald Radford, Mark Herndon, and Dixiana and has opened for Mike Rogers, Cody Webb, Chapel Hart, Point of Grace, Marcus King, The Charlotte Symphony, Mac Arnold, Drake White, and Josh Turner in front of thousands of attendees.  In 2025, Garrett served as the headline act for the Taste of Charlotte Festival and performed at the Lovin’ Life Music Fest, further solidifying his presence in the regional and national music scene.

CHARITY / GIVING BACK:

Garrett’s heart has always been to use his talent to help others and support his local community.  He has enjoyed working with several cancer and pediatric cancer charity events and community events supporting downtown businesses in Lincolnton, NC.  Also, Garrett has enjoyed visiting Cardinal Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Lincolnton, NC and Morningside Assisted Living in Gastonia, NC to encourage and uplift the residents through music.  He was honored to be part of the benefit concert with Julia Golden to support Western North Carolina and the many affected by the devastating aftermath of Hurricane Helene.  In November 2024, Garrett also opened for Tommy DeCarlo, the lead singer for the iconic rock band – Boston, in a benefit concert for Western North Carolina with all proceeds going to Samaritan’s Purse.

Strings Co., an endorsed artist with Franklin Strap, the 2023 Carolina CMA Entertainer of the Year, the 2023 & 2024 Carolina CMA songwriter of the year nominee, the 2024 Carolina CMA male artist of the year nominee, and the 2025 Carolina CMA Entertainer of the Year nominee.  In addition, he has also been nominated for the 2024 Carolina CMA Tour of the Year award along with his song “Don’t You Go” being nominated for the 2024 Music Video of the Year.  Garrett has also received multiple Josie Award nominations, including Rising Star of the Year, Vocalist of the Year – Country Rock/Southern Rock, Story-Enhanced Performance Video of the Year, Music Video of the Year, Song of the Year – Southern Rock/Country Rock, and Song of the Year – Country.  His original music has also been featured on multiple radio stations on 96.9 The Kat, iHeart Radio, Kicks 103.3, 93.9 Carolina Country, WFAY 100.1, WAME 92.9, WYAY 106.3, Z103.com, and Beach Waves Radio.  Additionally, Garrett has been spotlighted on multiple Charlotte television and radio stations as a new emerging country artist.
